MAT-TEX® Mats combine cotton and microfibre for maximum wet and dry dirt retention. They have the ability to trap and hold small particles of grit and dust. They absorb dirt and moisture from shoes and paws keeping your floors cleaner for longer.

All MAT-TEX® Mats are machine washable, so once your mat has collected all the dirt and mud that otherwise would be trodden through your home, you can put it straight in the washing machine – you can even tumble dry it. The hard wearing tufts do the hard work for you. Genuine MAT-TEX® Mats will not fray or wear out in normal use.
In fact, MAT-TEX® Mats actually improve with each wash, trapping even more wet mud and dirt.

    WHAT IS A SARONG ?
A Sarong is a beautiful garment, the fabric itself a work of art that can be used for any number of purposes, but is used most frequently as a bikini, bathing suit or beach cover up.
Put them over your swim suit, lay on it while on the beach, or Boat, use it as a towel-off, then wrap yourself up and head over to your favourite Lunch \Spot. They are easy to wear, eye-catching, versatile and like a good wine, seem to get better with age.

HOW TO TIE AND WEAR YOUR SARONG ?

    Men Tube Sarong Method 1.

    Men Tube Sarong Method 2.

It is not at all complicated to tie a Sarong. Like everything, it just takes a little practice, imagination and a sense of fun.
All our Sarongs are supplied with a leaflet of drawings how to tie a Sarong.
If you have one of our Coconut Sarong Ties, you simply pull both ends of your Sarong through and tie them off.
This is the easiest way to tie your Sarong and it gives you extra hold and security.

    WHAT IS BATIK ?

Indonesia is the best place we have found for producing Batik. This nation has immense talent and creativity and wherever you go there is a plethora of artisans practising their skills on many different mediums. One of these is the art of textile weaving called Batik. It remains one of the most important creative industries in this area.

Textile production in the Indonesian archipelago carries a unique and fascinating heritage. As cotton and raw silk materials is not native to S.E. Asia, it is believed that this art was introduced by traders from southern China and India over 2000 years.

Batik is an Asian form of textile painting where patterns and motifs are designed in wax, than dyed onto pre-woven cloth. There are literally thousands of patterns, designs and motifs.
    All absolutely gorgeous.

In Bali and Java each village has a particular speciality. Very often entire communities are dependent on this art. Traditional textile production in Indonesia is no exception and remains village based, done primarily by the women. Each approaches their art with the skills that have been handed down generation after generation. Their crafts are sold locally and internationally.

We have spent years searching for the very best producers of Batik so that each Sarong we offer is an amazing work of art. Not everyone can duplicate the design on a textile canvas from a photo. Our artists also use the best paint and know how to mix these to achieve a rich and vibrant Sarong. The families we work with are so talented that some of the Sarongs look like a painting.
Our suppliers spend 6 months a year travelling throughout S.E. Asia. Our supplier network is extensive. We have, and continue to seek out, the very best suppliers of unique hight quality products.

This is what makes OUR Batik Sarongs the most exquisite in the World.
